The Role

We are seeking a Classroom Care Assistant to support children in a SEND environment within a school setting. Working as part of an established team, the Learning Support Assistant will support children either 1-1 or in small groups. The role is Monday to Friday, during term time only. Responsibilities include supporting children with complex needs and profound and multiple learning difficulties, including personal care.

Requirements
  • Experience working with SEND children
  • A caring and positive attitude
  • Ability to build positive relationships with children and young people
  • Understanding of the importance of safeguarding
  • Willingness to pay for a DBS check and register with the Update Service
  • PRU experience is desirable but not essential
