East Ayrshire Council is seeking a part-time, temporary support role at Willowbank School, Kilmarnock. The position involves assisting teachers and learners with various non-teaching tasks, ensuring compliance with national guidelines for safer recruitment. Provide support to learners and teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and practical tasks such as contributing to the preparation of teaching materials to assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Education Service Plan and the Community Plan.
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a PVG Scheme member or have an up-to-date record before employment is offered. PVG records are regularly updated, and relevant disclosures will be discussed with applicants prior to employment.

This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position based at Willowbank School, Kilmarnock, until 27 June 2025. The hours are Monday to Friday, 9:15 am - 3:30 pm, with a full-time salary ranging from £24,333 to £25,353 per annum, and a part-time equivalent from £16,398 to £17,085.
