Ibstock Place School is seeking a Prep Classroom Assistant to provide support in the classroom for students ages 4 to 11. This permanent, term-time position is essential for ensuring a nurturing educational environment. We are seeking to appoint a Prep Classroom Assistant who will be responsible to the Co-Heads of the Prep School, through the Class Teacher (Year 1 - Year 6).
Classroom Assistants work under the direction of the class teacher and play a valuable role, supporting and caring for the children. It is important for assistants to be sensitive to the needs of the class teacher, to react with initiative as appropriate, and to support those with difficulties in the classroom.
All members of staff in the Prep School consider themselves as members of a team and help and support each other.
This is a permanent, term-time only role , Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break), with a six months probationary period.
The School will be open do discuss flexibility with start and finish times, if necessary.
Start date ASAP or in September, 2025 .
Salary £24,747 per annum .
