East Ayrshire Council is seeking a part-time, term-time position at Kilmaurs Primary School. The role involves supporting educators by performing various administrative tasks and practical duties, aimed at enhancing the educational experience for learners while adhering to safeguarding protocols.
Provide support to learners and teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and practical tasks such as contributing to the preparation of teaching materials. This role aims to assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the key objectives outlined in the Education Service Plan and the Community Plan.
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or update their existing membership before a formal employment offer is made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant information will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position based at Kilmaurs Primary School, Kilmaurs. The hours are 27.5 per week, Monday to Friday, until 31 March 2026. The full-time salary ranges from £24,333 to £25,353 per annum, with part-time, term-time salary between £16,398 and £17,085.
