An welcoming, bright and child-oriented primary school based in Cirencester is currently recruiting for a classroom assistant to promote and support classroom learning in Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2. This role offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to initiate their careers in education and gain an understanding of the National Curriculum.
As a classroom assistant, you will work alongside dedicated teachers to create a dynamic and effective learning environment that enables children to flourish and reach their full potential. The role involves engaging with children, supporting and developing their learning, assisting with the delivery of creative and well-planned lessons, and inspiring those "light-bulb" moments.
This position is suitable for recent graduates considering a career in education or experienced classroom assistants seeking a new challenge. Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential. Relevant experience may include mentoring, coaching, tutoring, nursery assistance, childcare, or similar classroom experiences. Supporting children with ASD, behavioral challenges, and learning difficulties would be highly beneficial.
