Job summary

Razzamataz Theatre Schools Ltd. in Oxford is seeking an energetic team member to support the delivery of dance, singing and drama classes, ensuring safety and engagement for every pupil.

You will work with the Principal, teachers and assistants, uphold safeguarding and health & safety guidelines, and contribute to a positive, professional company image during sessions and events. Flexibility to fit busy schedules and a commitment to the children’s development are essential.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for the job and theatre arts.
• Passion for theatre arts and for Razzamataz.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Reliable with good timekeeping.
• Flexible to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher to provide safe and effective delivery of classes in dance, singing and drama as set by the Principal.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines during classes and external events.
• Ensure signing in/out of each child by an adult over 18 at every session.
• Adhere to child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
• Be accountable for students in each class.
• Work as a team with the Principal, teachers and assistants.
• Represent Razzamataz with a positive company image at all times.
• Attend staff meetings and training at start of academic year and 1:1 at end of Term 1 and 3.
• Carry out any further duties deemed suitable by the Principal within the remit of the role.

Job Responsibilities

• To adhere to all health and safety guidelines set out by the Principal during classes and at any external events/presentations or performances.
• To ensure the signing in and out of each child by an adult over the age of 18 at every session held
• To adhere to all child protection & safeguarding guidelines set out by the Principal
• To be accountable for the students in each class.
• To work as a team along with the Principal, teachers and assistants.
• To show loyalty to Razzamataz and represent an appropriate Company image at all time
• To attend staff meetings and training at the start of the academic year and 1:1 at the end of Term 1 and 3.
• To effectively carry out any further duties the Principal deem suitable within the remit of your role with the company
