Harvey Wash Ltd is a small, family-run Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist based near the A12 in Kelvedon, Essex. You will join a dedicated team to work on a range of classic vehicles, from routine maintenance to major mechanical and electrical work, including restoration.

The role suits someone who loves classic cars and takes pride in doing things properly, with opportunities to learn our specialist vehicles and work on unique, historically valuable cars.

Competenze

• Previous experience working on classic or vintage vehicles — essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and patience.
• Ability to diagnose faults rather than simply replace parts.
• Good communication and professional customer interaction.
• Good numeracy and legible handwriting for workshop documentation.
• Interest in understanding how things work and solving problems.
• Experience with modern vehicle diagnostics and electrical systems is a plus.
• Rolls-Royce and Bentley experience preferred but isn’t essential.

Mansioni

• Engine removal, dismantling and rebuilding.
• Mechanical repairs and restoration.
• Servicing and maintenance.
• Electrical fault-finding and rewiring.
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Working on pre-war and post-war Rolls-Royce, Bentley and other classic vehicles.
• Some work on more modern vehicles.
• Working alongside the team to manage individual jobs from diagnosis through to completion.
• No two cars — or two days — are necessarily the same.
