An independent garage & classic car specialist in Uckfield is seeking an experienced Automotive Classic Car Technician. The ideal candidate will work Monday to Friday, focusing on servicing and repairs of classic vehicles with a competitive salary between £25,000 - £45,000. Experience with classic cars and a NVQ Level 3 qualification are essential. The role offers a laid-back atmosphere and a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential.
  • Current and valid UK Driving Licence required.
  • Experience working with classic cars is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out servicing and repairs on classic cars, especially BMWs and Porsches.
  • Perform MOT Testing and diagnostic to identify vehicle faults.
  • Ensure paperwork is completed to the highest standards.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Classic Car Technician within an Independent Garage & Classic Car Specialist, located in Uckfield.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Classic Car Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties of the Classic Car Technician include but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out Servicing and Repairs on a range of classic cars, especially BMWs and Porsches, amongst other brands
  • MOT Testing
  • Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements for the Classic Car Technician:

  • A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Experience working with classic cars is highly desirable
  • Dedicated and committed approach
  • Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work
  • Your own Vehicle Technician tools

The salary of this role is up to £45,000 basic with OTE of £45,000. Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:30 with no Saturdays.
