Job Title: Class1 LGV C+E Driver

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £19.98 p/h to £22.89 p/h

Pertemps is partnering with the Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit Class 1 LGV C+E Drivers for the Plymouth site. If you're seeking work, our onsite team across the country is looking for drivers to start immediately.

As a Class 1 LGV C+E Driver, after successfully completing an assessment, you will trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail network. The role involves manual work, with shifts offered one week in advance.

We offer competitive pay rates and a variety of start times and days to suit different preferences. Flexibility is appreciated, especially for shifts that may not suit everyone. We are particularly interested in drivers available to work weekends or to start in the afternoon and work into the evening or night shifts.

Entry Requirements:

• Hold a valid license for at least 2 years with no more than 5 penalty points. A clean license is preferred, as exceeding 5 points may result in termination of the assignment.
• Have a minimum of 180 days of driving experience within the last 2 years, relevant to commercial driving.
• Have no more than 10 infringements over a 12-month period, with no more than 6 in the same category over 6 months.
• Check your Digi tacho before assessment to avoid instant failure.
• Be fully comfortable with manual entries on the Digi tacho.
• Endorsements of DD, DR, IN, or CD are not accepted.
• Be prepared to pass a CRB security check following registration.
