Job description

CLASS TEACHERS (FIXED TERM AND PERM)

Job Opportunity: Class Teachers (Permanent & Fixed Term)

We are seeking three dedicated Class Teachers (two permanent and one fixed term) to join our team at a primary academy. This is a unique chance to become a key member of our teaching and learning community. Starting from September 1, 2025, we will be merging with another primary academy, creating an exciting new chapter for our school. This merger will enhance our resources, expertise, and facilities, providing even greater educational opportunities for our local community. We are currently engaging with students, parents, staff, and the community to decide on our new school name, logo, and uniform.

Our newly amalgamated school will feature a two-form entry system with its own pre-school, catering to children aged 2-11, and will initially include additional classes for Years 4, 5, and 6. Our transition plan includes refurbishment and redecoration of our school buildings. We will welcome students on September 8, 2025, with staff having a full week of inset time to prepare for the opening.

The trust overseeing this school is a successful multi-academy trust that offers high-quality, comprehensive, and inclusive education through its primary and secondary schools. Our schools are located in various regions, with shared service hubs for our central teams. We are building a network of like-minded schools that collaborate to provide mutual support, share best practices, and learn from each other while maintaining their unique character. Collaboration is at the heart of our ethos, fostering a culture of sharing ideas and continuous learning.
