Job summary

Freeman's Endowed Junior CE Academy is looking for a flexible, enthusiastic teacher to join on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave. You will deliver Quality First Teaching and support the well-being and progress of our primary pupils.

Work alongside a collaborative team in a Church and Trust school, with opportunities for professional development. Applications must be completed in full; DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver high-quality Quality First Teaching.
• Experience with the primary curriculum and assessment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and enhanced DBS clearance.

We are proud of our close links with St Barnabas School, which is our feeder infant school. Additionally, both schools are led and managed by the same Headteacher and Leadership Team. We have an opportunity for a teacher to join our school on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave. We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic teacher, who encompasses our passion and values, and we are looking to appoint someone who:

• Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn
• Has an understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary aged children
• Is able to deliver excellent Quality First Teaching
• Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies
• Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently and above all is a committed team member
• Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school
