The Governing Body of Stonehouse Park Federation are seeking to appoint a full time class teacher who is committed to providing consistent learning and development within a nurturing learning environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Park Junior School and further develop your career. The successful candidates will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day to day school life and will be committed to supporting children to achieve the very best they can through an engaging, creative curriculum. You will be part of a driven, dedicated and supportive staff team.

Our Federation has a focus on children’s wellbeing and both schools use a Thrive approach to supporting children emotional development and a restorative approach to behaviour management.

What we are looking for a candidate who:

• Will be able to enthuse and motivate children using a variety of ways so that all children can access their learning and become independent learners
• Show an excellent understanding of assessment and how to use it to inform the next steps of learning
• Is a reflective practitioner who is able to adapt and improve their own practice
• Is a team player who has strong interpersonal skills
• Has a good understanding and awareness of SEND and is able to use a range of adaptive strategies to support all children’s needs
