Job description
Overview

The Discovery Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Class Teacher to work in our newly opened SEN Resource Provision, Aspen Hollis. This will be the 1st Secondary SEN Resource provision in Stoke-On-Trent. The provision will cater for up to 16 children who have an Education Health Care Plan for Communication and Interaction Needs, providing a nurturing space for personalised learning enhanced with some mainstream lessons. Students can integrate into mainstream school life at their own pace, participating in extracurricular activities, social events, and shared learning experiences with peers. This post offers the opportunity to be part of an inclusive Academy and Multi-Academy Trust at the forefront of change.

Required: January 2026. Principal: Ms J Schofield. Actual Salary: MPS/UPS (£32,916 - £51,047). Applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome.
