We are keen to recruit a passionate and inspiring qualified Reception Class Teacher to join our supportive and talented team at Haywood Village Academy. We are interested in hearing from either experienced or early career teachers who want to teach in Reception, alongside an experienced and supportive team. This role is for 2 days a week, and the school is flexible as to the days in which this time can be agreed.
Haywood Village Academy opened in 2016 and currently has classes in Pre-school, Reception and year groups 1 to 6. The school was judged Outstanding by Ofsted in June 2019. The academy is at the heart of the community that it serves and is defined by High Aspirations, Valuing Learning and Achievement for all. We have created a school where children flourish. The school offers a limitless education that empowers choice through enriching, meaningful and active opportunities. What we are looking for:
We look for passionate individuals who want to be a part of transforming education and will make an active contribution to the development of the Cabot Learning Federation and chosen Academy. You will be used to planning and consistently delivering high quality lessons, will have experience in delivering the curriculum in your chosen area and will be a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change and motivate colleagues and students. A well-qualified specialist, holding QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree, you will have the ability to teach Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We look for professionals who have excellent class management skills and have high expectations of work and behaviour.
