Autism East Midlands is seeking a Class Teacher to join the team in Braithwell. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons for autistic children and young people aged 5-19, working with a wide range of professionals to ensure pupils reach their full potential.

Experience with autistic pupils is desirable but full training and support will be provided. The role is based at an independent specialist school and the organisation emphasises safeguarding and equal opportunities.

Sutherland House School Braithwell is an independent specialist school for autistic children and young people aged 5-19. As part of a supportive staff team, you will have a passion for improving the lives for autistic pupils and their families. You will have a commitment to planning and delivering engaging lessons and you will engage with a wide range of professionals, including therapists to ensure all pupils are reaching their full potential.

Previous experience with autistic pupils or teaching in an additional needs environment is desirable however full training and support will be given.
