Job summary

Spalding Primary Academy is seeking a Class Teacher on a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2026 for maternity cover. The successful candidate will teach with energy and enthusiasm, delivering a stimulating curriculum and forming positive relationships with all pupils.

The post requires a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum, high expectations for behaviour and attainment, and a commitment to the academy’s values and pastoral care across its community.

About this Role

Spalding Primary Academy is seeking a Class Teacher to cover a FTC until 31.08.2026 for maternity cover . Please note that the contract may end earlier if the substantive postholder returns, in which case one month’s notice will be given.

We are looking for an inspirational teacher who will be committed, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of how children learn.
