Job summary

Hemingbrough Community Primary School in Selby is seeking a passionate classroom practitioner to join our welcoming team from January 2027. The role is in lower KS2 and will be 2 days a week, Thursdays and Fridays, 0.40 FTE, on a fixed-term contract.

The successful applicant will promote our school values of Community, Aspiration, Resilience and Empathy, deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress and contribute to school improvement within a supportive, outdoor-oriented environment.

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a passionate, motivated and inspirational classroom practitioner to join our welcoming, dedicated and friendly team from January 2027. This position is in lower KS2. It will be 2 days, Thursday and Friday.

Hemingbrough Community Primary School is a small school with a big heart and has enthusiastic children, committed staff as well as supportive governors and parents. The school is situated in a quiet village with a strong sense of community.
