Job description

Class Teacher Primary School Ealing September 2025

Q - Are you a qualified Class Teacher seeking a better work-life balance?

Q - Or perhaps your current Headteacher and SLT aren't as supportive as you'd like?

If so, Joe at EdEx may have the perfect Class Teacher vacancy for September!

We have worked with this Ealing-based Primary School for the last 12 months, visiting twice and meeting the Headteacher (who is fabulous), SLT, support staff, and pupils.

The Headteacher was part of the "founding family" over 8 years ago and has since led the school to great success. The school is not only academically excellent but also child-led and pupil-first in everything they do. The Headteacher is passionate, supportive, and a true powerhouse.

Key highlights of the school include:

  • Headteacher, SLT, and staff are friendly and collaborative, all working together for pupils
  • Focus on wellbeing - everyone has a partner or friend at the school to talk to
  • Wellbeing events across the School / Trust
  • SLT supports teachers needing time to rest or reset
  • Strong communication to support staff before burnout occurs
  • Marking parties where staff support each other by marking books
  • Flexible PPA time with a dedicated PPA teacher
  • Speech and Language Therapist (4 days/week), School Counsellor (5 days/week), and more
  • Large outdoor spaces, nurture and sensory rooms, well-equipped classrooms

The Headteacher is looking for a Class Teacher who is flexible across KS1 and KS2. She prefers to observe teachers in action and then discuss the best fit for the class based on strengths and needs.

This role is for a September 2025 start, with a permanent contract directly with the school. Interviews and lesson observations can be scheduled from now until the May resignation deadline. We encourage you to apply and speak with Joe about this or other suitable schools.

If you're interested in this Class Teacher vacancy in Ealing, apply today with your latest CV. Joe will contact shortlisted candidates within 12 hours for a confidential chat.
