About Us
Portland Spencer Academy is an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school situated in Bilborough, Nottingham and we are looking for an inspiring Early Years teacher to lead our EYFS provision. Our aim is for our youngest children to make the best possible start to their education and this was recognised in our recent inspection where it was stated that:
‘The early years curriculum is ambitious and personalised. Staff get to know the children as soon as they start at the school. Children in the nursery quickly settle into routines. Staff tailor the learning to children’s interests. This ensures that children learn everything they need to be ready for Year one. Children confidently share their knowledge of the local area as well as of religious and community events.”
We are incredibly proud of our aspirational school that believes every child can succeed and ASPIRE in all that they do. If you are looking to work in a school with children who want to achieve greatness, work alongside a team that succeeds together and engage in high quality CPD that shows possibilities are endless… Portland is the place for you.
