Shotley Bridge Primary School is a successful village school situated close to the Durham / Northumberland border.
We are currently seeking to appoint a classroom teacher to initially join our EYFS team.
We are looking for a highly effective and reflective classroom practitioner with experience of working in EYFS and who is passionate about offering children an environment that encourages them to love learning and promotes our school values.
Candidates should be highly motivated with a desire to continually develop their own teaching skills to ensure that all pupils flourish and achieve their true potential.
We are looking for a teacher who:
• has a strong working knowledge of EYFS Framework and how this links to the primary national curriculum objectives and expectations
• has a clear understanding of effective teacher assessment processes
• works effectively as part of a whole school team
• demonstrates excellent communication skills
• has a caring and empathetic nature
• demonstrates an enthusiasm and love of learning
• values the relationship between school, parents and the local community and can contribute to the wider school community
