Job description

We are excited to invite a new teacher to join our existing teaching team, contributing positively to our school's ongoing development. Please see the attached job description and person specification for further details.

About Our School

We are a large, four-form entry junior school. Each year group operates as a team with a dedicated year leader supporting curriculum and pastoral issues. Teamwork is a core strength at both year and subject levels. Our planning framework places class teachers at the center, supported by a whole-school and year-based structure. We also have an inclusion and intervention team led by a deputy head, which includes a child and family worker, a learning support manager, a mentor/nurture assistant, and an intervention assistant. This team supports children with special needs, underachievement, and vulnerabilities, offering various support mechanisms for class teachers. Additionally, play leaders support vulnerable children during lunchtimes.

Our Commitments and Opportunities

We aim to raise standards academically and in children's personal development, aligned with our vision statement. As a member of the Prosper Together MAT, we collaborate to promote school improvement and provide extended services for pupils, including opportunities for sport and physical activities. Our website, www.cbjs.co.uk, offers more information.

School Improvement Goals
