All's Well School in Fareham is seeking a passionate Class Teacher & SENCO to support learners with SEMH needs in a therapeutic educational setting.
You’ll plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons, adapt to SEMH, SEND and neurodiverse needs, and work with therapists, families and external professionals to ensure positive academic and personal outcomes. Opportunities may arise to take on SENCO responsibilities.
Salary: Dependent on skills and experience
Working pattern: Term time plus two weeks
At All's Well School, we work with children and young people who have faced significant barriers to education and learning.
Through patience, trust, consistency and the right support, we help learners rebuild confidence, develop new skills and achieve outcomes they may never have thought possible.
We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher & SENCO to join our team and support learners with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.
This is more than a teaching role. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, inspire a love of learning and help young people overcome barriers, develop resilience and achieve their potential in a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment.
For the right candidate, there may also be an opportunity to take on the SENCO role, helping to coordinate and develop provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
If you're a compassionate, resilient and reflective teacher who believes every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
Working as part of our dedicated education team, you'll plan and deliver engaging, creative and personalized learning experiences that meet the individual needs of our pupils.
You’ll adapt your teaching to support a range of SEMH, SEND and neurodiverse needs, helping learners develop their knowledge, confidence, independence and readiness to learn. Through consistent routines, positive relationships and trauma-informed practice, you'll create an environment where pupils feel safe, supported and able to make progress.
You’ll work closely with teaching assistants, therapeutic staff, families and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the support they need to achieve positive academic, social and personal outcomes.
No two days are the same, but every day offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference.
For candidates taking on the SENCO role, responsibilities will also include coordinating SEND provision, advising colleagues on appropriate support strategies, maintaining accurate SEND records, liaising with external agencies and monitoring the implementation and effectiveness of EHCPs.
We're looking for someone who shares our commitment to helping every young person reach their full potential.
You’ll be:
Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs, particularly within specialist provision, is highly desirable. Experience of delivering precision teaching, literacy and numeracy interventions, and supporting pupils with EHCPs would also be beneficial.
A relevant degree or subject qualification is desirable. Candidates interested in the SENCO opportunity should hold the relevant qualification or demonstrate the eligibility and capability to work towards it.
A full driving licence and access to a car for business use are required.
Above all, you'll bring the values, attitude and commitment needed to make a positive difference to young people’s lives every day.
When you join us, you'll become part of a dedicated team focused on changing lives through education.
We offer:
All's Well School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all colleagues to share this commitment.
