As a class teacher you will provide outstanding teaching in an environment that enables all pupils to thrive and achieve their full potential both academically and through enrichment and life skills development.

Being a class teacher at Brookfields includes, working in a flexible engaging way, often individually with our pupils who need successful relationships with attuned adults in order to thrive and access the curriculum. You will need to also need to take responsibility for planning, preparation, assessment, evaluation and reporting pupil progress, along with managing a small team of support staff in the class. You will need to work collaboratively with other school staff and parents in order to create and maintain outstanding opportunities for our pupils.

You must have UK QTS and SEN Teaching experience or a keen interest in developing in this challenging but rewarding field. A specialism in Math in a SEN school would be beneficial. You will need to be willing to work both indoors and out throughout the year, participate in physical activities and provide personal care.
