Job description

Are you an inspiring, creative, and passionate teacher? Leigh Academy Molehill has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Class Teacher to join our outstanding team from September 2025. This is a unique chance to become part of a school recently awarded Outstanding in all categories by Ofsted (December 2024).

At Leigh Academy Molehill, we are committed to nurturing every pupil’s potential and providing the best possible educational experience. Our focus is on creating an environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. We work together to achieve excellence for all, fostering confident, resilient children who benefit from the expertise of energetic, highly motivated, and forward-thinking teachers.

We are seeking a teacher who places children at the heart of school life, with high expectations for both pupil achievement and behaviour. You will be someone who inspires and motivates pupils to reach their full potential while fostering a love of learning in every child.

In return, you will join a dynamic and collaborative team, with ample opportunities for professional growth and development, as we continue our journey of excellence.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a graduate with QTS and/or PGCE
  • Has high levels of success in teaching in the primary sector
  • Has the highest expectations of pupils and themselves
  • Is enthusiastic, imaginative, and forward-thinking
  • Has the ability to inspire, motivate and engage children to achieve and succeed
  • Is able to form positive relationships with children, staff, parents, and governors
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal and organisational skills

We can offer you:

  • The opportunity to be part of an academy with an outstanding reputation.
  • A welcoming, forward-thinking academy community committed to raising achievement and attainment
  • A creative, supportive, and highly motivated environment where teamwork thrives
  • Excellent resources, facilities, and a strong commitment to professional development

This is a permanent, full-time role offering MPS/UPS commensurate with experience.

If you are passionate about making a difference and eager to contribute to our school’s continued success, we look forward to receiving your application!

Our commitment to safeguarding: Leigh Academies Trust and all of our academies are committed to ensuring the highest levels of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils, and we expect all our staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We adopt a fair, robust and consistent recruitment process across all academies and business units which is in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance. This includes online checks for shortlisted candidates. All offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references, and where applicable, a prohibition from teaching check.

Our commitment to equality and diversity: As a Trust, we are passionate about diversity and recognise that as individuals, we all bring something unique to the role regardless of any protected characteristics which is why we treat all of our people equally, without compromise. We are committed to providing equality and fairness throughout our recruitment and employment practices and not discriminating on any grounds.
