Job summary

Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School in England is seeking an exceptional educator who is passionate about learning and who will become an inspirational practitioner for our children.

The successful candidate will join a faith-centered community at Our Lady’s, with a commitment to safeguarding. This permanent, full-time appointment starts 1st April 2027, with a focus on nurturing every child’s potential in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• DBS clearance
• Medical clearance
• Verification of qualifications and National Insurance number
• Two references including a judgement about suitability to work with children
• A member of the interview panel will be trained in implementing Child Protection procedures
• In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2025, online search will be carried out
• For teaching positions, barred list checks and prohibition from teaching checks will be carried out
• For leadership positions, section 128 checks will be performed
