Class Teacher - Full Time - Portsmouth

Are you a driven and compassionate Teacher with experience working alongside SEN children?

We are currently recruiting for a Class Teacher to work full time at a special needs school based in Portsmouth, Hampshire. This "outstanding" special needs school go above and beyond for children 4-11 with Severe and Complex learning needs and autistic individuals by providing a safe and vibrant learning community where each student can strive to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities of the Class Teacher

• The Class Teacher will keep up to date with safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
• The Class Teacher will Teach across KS1 & KS2
• The Class Teacher will adapt teaching style to better suit each individuals needs
• The Class Teacher will train in and consistently apply Positive Behaviour Support strategies / handling techniques
• The Class teacher will actively consider using a range of appropriate, motivating, age respectfulness resources
