Job summary

Tollgate Primary School, part of Unity Schools Partnership, is hiring a dedicated teacher for a full-time maternity cover beginning in November 2026. You will join a strong staff team and work as part of the year group.

The role involves planning engaging lessons using the CUSP curriculum, building positive relationships with your class, and collaborating with your teaching partner to uphold high standards. DBS checks and visits may be required.

Contract: Full-time, temporary (maternity cover)

Start date: From November 2026

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our strong staff team on a temporary contract as maternity cover. We are a two - form entry school, therefore you will be working as part of the year group team.

• You will be able to plan engaging lessons following our chosen curriculum and agreed lesson structure.
• You will build strong relationships with your class.
• You will plan with your teaching partner and follow the CUSP curriculum.
