Mainstay Recruitment Solutions Ltd on behalf of a client in Bickenhill near Birmingham Airport is recruiting for HGV Class 2 drivers for immediate starts. The role is permanent, Monday to Friday days with start times from 05:30 to 07:00 and finish around 14:30–16:30. No weekends or bank holidays, with potential bonuses for certain deliveries.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome. Duties include flooring product deliveries to warehouses, with 12–20 drops per day and physical work involved.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence held with no major endorsements.

Our client based in Bickenhill near Birmingham airport need HGV Class 2 Drivers for immediate starts. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply as a positive/can do attitude and to be physically fit is a priority due to the nature of the work involved (manual handling is involved).

This is a permanent position working Monday-Friday on days starting between 05:30 and 07:00, finish times are usually between 14:30 and 16:30. No weekends or bank holidays.

Newly qualified drivers can be consideredfor this position. With immediate starts.

The day to day duties involve delivery of flooring products to warehouses, large stores and distribution centres (there are no residential deliveries). You will have between 12 and 20 deliveries to complete per day, with bonuses available for collections made at each delivery point (when full-time). There is manual handling involved, so applicants will need to be physically fit and able to do this.

This is an excellent opportunity for both a newly passed drivers that need to gain invaluable experience or an already experienced driver that wants a more physical position and work in a permanent role with a more healthy work/life balance.
