Job summary

ShiftHero in Wakefield is seeking reliable Class 2 HGV Tramper Drivers to join our growing team. You will transport beds frames and mattresses, ensure safe loading and unloading, and maintain delivery records while delivering excellent customer service.

The role may include one or two nights out per week. PAYE weekly payments are processed in-house, with holiday pay, pension access, and standard/advanced hourly rates offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C) licence entitlement.
• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho.
• Good understanding of drivers hours rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport beds frames and mattresses to other businesses.
• Push and slide items.
• Occasional nights out (tramping) per week when required.
• Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of materials.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain delivery records.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company.

Job description

At ShiftHero Wakefield, we are currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV Tramper Drivers to work for one of our value client in the Wakefield area. Due to expansion we are looking for reliable and professional Class 2 HGV Drivers to join our growing team.

The Role

• Transport beds frames and mattresses to other businesses
• Push and slide
• One or two nights out ( tramping) per week when required in this role
• Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of materials
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate delivery records
• Provide excellent customer service while representing company

Qualifications & Experience

• A valid Class 2 (C) licence entitlementValid CPC & Digital TachoGood understanding of drivers hours rules and regulations.
• No more than 6 points (or major endorsements).

Pay & Benefits

• Standard Hourly Rate: £14.46
• Advanced Hourly Rate £16.21 (includes holiday pay)
• Overnight allowance included(Upon qualifying, you will have access to a workplace pension and any benefits on offer.)At ShiftHero, we only operate on a PAYE basis.
