Here at the Mick George Group, we are currently recruiting a Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our team.
Location: Ellington
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, between 6am – 6pm, with occasional Saturday work. Averaging 50 hours per week.
Pay: On target earnings circa £46,000 per annum plus performance-related bonuses.

Founded nearly 40 years ago, Mick George has grown from a small business to a leading supplier to the construction industry in East Anglia and East Midlands, operating over 600 HGV vehicles across 40+ sites and employing over 1,000 staff.
We are seeking Class 2 Tipper Drivers to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our ongoing success.
- Category C driving license
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Drivers Qualification Card
- Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift vehicle checks, including walk-around inspections and defect reporting.
- Adhere to road safety rules, including the Highway Code, Road Traffic Act, and comply with driving regulations such as the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours.
- Ensure loads are secure, within weight limits, and follow site-specific rules.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and ensure safe and economical driving.
- Demonstrate strong geographical knowledge.
- Complete any ad hoc requests as required.
