Job summary

Pertemps Stoke on Trent is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver for a busy Stoke-on-Trent transport operation. The role involves operating tipper vehicles, delivering aggregates, and carrying out daily vehicle checks.

You will need a valid Class 2 licence, CPC and Digital tachograph, and at least 1 year of Class 2 driving experience, ideally with muckaway or site-to-site haulage.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence with CPC & Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience in aggregates or muckaway sectors.
• Tipper/Skip operation experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Deliver and collect aggregates to site locations.
• Complete muckaway and site-to-site haulage operations.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
• Ensure loads are secure and compliant with transport regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service at sites and deliveries.

Class 2 Tipper Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join a busy and growing transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent.

Key Responsibilities of this Class 2 / HGV 2 Role:

• Operating HGV Class 2 tipper vehicles safely and efficiently


• Delivering and collecting aggregates


• Completing muckaway and site-to-site haulage operations


• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly


• Ensuring loads are secure and compliant with transport regulations


• Providing excellent customer service when attending sites and deliveries

For this Class 2 Tipper Role, you will need:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence


• Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience


• Tipper / Skip experience essential


• Valid CPC & Digital Tacho card


• Reliable and professional attitude


• Experience within aggregates, construction, or muckaway sectors

• Salary: £17.00 PAYE
