Job description

Class 2 Skip Driver

Location: Leicester LE4

Role: Full Time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Driver Responsibilities:

1. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
2. Load and unload cargo.
3. Maintain accurate delivery records.
4. Communicate effectively with staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
5. Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and conduct while on the road.

Driver Requirements and Skills:

1. A valid full category Class 2/C licence.
2. Minimum of 1 year driving experience.
3. No more than 6 points on your licence for insurance purposes (no BA/CD/CU DR/DD/IN offences).
4. Ability to operate Skip Lorries.
5. Excellent time management skills for timely deliveries.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
8. Good customer service skills and attention to detail.

Shift Details:

1. Monday - Friday
2. Start times: Apply online only
3. Hours: 40-45 hours per week
