Here at the Mick George Group, we are recruiting a Class 2 Roro Driver to join our team.

Location: Ellington

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 6am – 6pm, with occasional Saturday work. Average 50 hours per week.

Pay: On target earnings circa £46,000 per annum, plus performance-related bonuses.

Role Overview:

Due to growth, we are seeking Class 2 Roro Drivers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a successful and expanding business.

Requirements:

• Category C driving license
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Drivers Qualification Card

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift vehicle checks, including walk-around inspections, and report defects.
• Follow road safety rules, including the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act, and comply with driving regulations such as the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours.
• Ensure loads are secure and within weight limits, following site-specific rules.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and drive safely and economically.
• Demonstrate good geographical knowledge.
• Complete any ad hoc requests.
