Job summary

Workforce Staffing is hiring a Class 2 Refuse & Recycling Driver in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. You will safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, collect waste and recycling, and help keep the community clean. This full-time role offers stable hours and a supportive team environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Class 2 HGV licence, are hardworking and reliable, and communicate well with the team and customers. Daily vehicle checks and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Class 2 HGV licence required.
• Experience with refuse or similar vehicles is a plus.
• Reliable and punctual with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Drive with precision and safely operate a Class 2 Refuse & Recycling Driver vehicle across Cheltenham.
• Empty bins and sort materials, maintaining cleanliness and recycling efficiency.
• Work with a dedicated team to meet daily targets and complete tasks smoothly.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance to keep the truck running smoothly.

Pay rates:

Monday to Friday £19.11p/h (incl of hol)

Overtime £27.94p/h (inclusive of hol)
