Job summary

The Best Connection recruits for a Class 2 Refuse Driver position in the Grimsby area. You will drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on residential routes, work with loaders, and follow health & safety guidelines to ensure timely waste collections.

Immediate starts available with full training provided and ongoing work. Benefits include weekly pay, holiday entitlement, pension, online payslips, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• CPC Qualification Card & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year's Class 1 or Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points (No DD, DR or IN endorsements).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on planned residential routes.
• Work closely with loaders to complete household waste collections.
• Maintain safe driving standards in residential and built-up areas.
• Follow scheduled routes, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
• Stay alert to pedestrians, traffic, and potential hazards at all times.
