Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our Grimsby waste collection team. You will drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on planned routes, work with loaders, and ensure safety standards on residential streets.

We welcome reliable, safety-conscious candidates with a valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card. Road safety, teamwork, and consistent work ethic are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
• CPC Qualification Card & Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 1 year's Class 1 or Class 2 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points (No DD, DR or IN endorsements).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 refuse vehicle on planned residential routes.
• Work closely with loaders to complete household waste collections.
• Maintain safe driving standards in residential and built-up areas.
• Follow scheduled routes, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
• Stay alert to pedestrians, traffic, and potential hazards at all times.
