Job summary

Huws Gray Plant & Tool Hire in Swinton is seeking a Hire Driver (Class 2) to safely deliver and collect hire equipment from our branches. You will ensure vehicle checks, maintain service standards, and provide excellent customer service as part of a supportive team.

You’ll gain full training, including HIAB certification, with opportunities for progression as the business grows. Flexibility and a positive attitude are valued in our collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Class 2 driving licence is required.
• Positive attitude and customer-focused approach.
• Willingness to complete training and gain HIAB certification.

Responsibilities

• Delivering, collecting, and distributing hire equipment using company vehicles.
• Carrying out routine equipment and vehicle checks to ensure safety and reliability.
• Serve customers professionally and with a friendly approach.
• Maintain up-to-date hire fleet maintenance records and follow transport procedures.
