Job description

Driver Hire (Torbay) are seeking Class 2 drivers for our client based in the Newton Abbot area. This is a multi-drop role, with manual handling. Positions could be temp-to-perm for the right candidates.

This is not delivering parcels.

Salary:

GBP34,664 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the punctual transport and delivery of goods.
Work shifts typically start at 05:00 until all deliveries are completed.
Comply with traffic and road safety regulations at all times.
Keep in regular contact with the transport team regarding schedules and updates.

Essential:

Must possess a valid Category C driver's license.
Must have relevant, and up to date, CPC and digital tachograph cards.
Must have a clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points and no major endorsements (DR, DD, IN).

Desirable:

Prior experience in multi-drop delivery roles is appreciated.
Physical ability to handle manual tasks and vehicle operations.
