Job summary

Pertemps Milton Keynes is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers for a Northampton-based client offering temp-to-perm opportunities. You will deliver to retail stores across the UK, handling 6-12 drops per day, with 9-12 hour shifts and 5 on/3 off rota.

Newly qualified drivers are welcome with full training provided; the permanent salary is £39,500+ per year, with strong weekly earnings during the agency period and ongoing career prospects in a modern fleet and supportive transport team.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification (DQC Card).
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ability to work a 5 on / 3 off shift pattern.
• Maximum of 3 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Delivering goods to retail stores across the UK.
• 6–12 drops per day with mostly cage deliveries.
• Occasional unloading within stores when required.
• Shift length: 9–12 hours; start times 04:00–08:00.
• 5 on / 3 off rota.
