Job summary

SWIFT Temps Ltd is recruiting for a Class 2 Multi‑Drop Driver in Wetherby on a full‑time, permanent basis. The role involves delivering drinks products to commercial customers alongside a Driver's Mate, with duties including daily vehicle checks, order security, and adherence to safety procedures.

Applicants should have a valid HGV Class 2 licence and CPC, a good knowledge of local geography, and a customer‑focused approach.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence and CPC qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience, including at least 2 years as a Class 2 driver preferred.
• Willing to undergo DVLA licence checks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and safety inspections.
• Secure and check orders before departure.
• Communicate route details and order information with your Driver's Mate.
• Deliver to customer premises, unloading stock as required.
• Collect empty kegs, pallets, and returns.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and electronic POD tasks.
• Liaise with the Transport Management team regarding delays or vehicle issues.
• Comply with all Tachograph and driving legislation.
