Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with a valid Moffett licence for a Chorley-based role. You will drive a Class 2 vehicle, operate a Moffett forklift, and handle 4-8 drops per day while loading at the depot for each run.

Typical shifts are Monday to Friday with early finishes between 3:30pm and 4:00pm, delivering to Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Lancaster, and nearby areas. Opportunity for permanent position for the right candidate and a friendly, supportive team

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Current Moffett (truck-mounted forklift) licence.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport legislation.

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle.

Class 2 HGV Driver with Moffett Licence

Location: Chorley
Pay: £18.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday | 06:30 - 17:30 (typically finishing between 15:30 and 16:00)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with a valid Moffett licence to join a well-established and growing business based in Chorley.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable driver looking for a stable, Monday to Friday role with early finishes most days.

The Role

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle.
