Job Description:

The Role

• This role involves primarily working on motorways, with 90% of the work dedicated to this task.
• Be responsible for picking up loads from the plant and delivering them to the designated sites promptly and efficiently.
• Operate Class 2 Mixer vehicles to transport materials for central reservation repairs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while driving and on-site.
• Perform central reservation repair tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and hours worked.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects.
• Flexible availability for occasional night work as required.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Have a minimum of 2 years proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
• Have a full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Proven experience as a Mixer Driver, preferably with central reservation repair experience.
• ‘Verifi’ ticket/qualification associated with mixers would be advantageous.
• Ability to work away from home, staying in paid hotel accommodation (shared room).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
