CLASS 2 DRIVER

PAY RATE: £15.50 PER HOUR

Monday to Friday, rota'd Saturdays

Start times: 07:00/07:30 start. Enhanced payment if starting before 05:30

People Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class 2 cement mixer Driver to join our well-established client at their site based in York, this role is to work on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

You must be aged 25 or over for our client's insurance purposes.

Day to Day Duties

• Drive Class 2 Vehicles safely and efficiently
• Ensure vehicle is well presented at all times
• Abide by driving rules & regulations
• Conduct vehicle inspections
• Operating a cement mixer
• Making deliveries to building sites, residential addresses & other plants

Essential Skills

• Have held a valid UK Category C Driving Licence for at least two years
• Hold a UK DIGI Card
• Hold a UK CPC Card
• No more than six penalty points
• 1 year experience with cement mixers
• No major endorsement codes
• Over the age of 25 due to insurance purposes
• Excellent timekeeping
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Desirable Experience

• It is desirable to have 2 years experience on cement mixers.

Training

• Assessment may be required.
