Job summary

Selwood Limited in Bracknell is seeking an experienced LGV Driver to join our branch operations team. You will safely deliver, collect and transport pump equipment between depots and customer sites, while delivering excellent customer service.

You must hold a Class 2 LGV licence with limited points and a HIAB/ALLMI certificate, plus a Digital Tachograph Driver Card and CPC qualification. A good level of fitness and strong communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Class 2 LGV licence with ≤6 points and HIAB/ALLMI certificate.
Digital Tachograph Driver Card and CPC certification.
Experience in plant, construction or hire industries.
Over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

Carry out transport of pump equipment between depots and customer sites, following DoT regulations.
Perform daily vehicle safety checks and routine maintenance.
Ensure loads are secured and safely loaded/unloaded.
Communicate with hire desk, colleagues and customers to maintain high standards.
Be involved in a 6-weekly vehicle safety inspection schedule.
Adhere to Driver's hours and tachograph rules.
