A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Driver Hire Southampton for experienced and newly qualified Class 2 drivers. This role involves delivering stationary products to commercial areas in and around Hampshire.

About the Class 2 Delivery Driving role:

• 12-week temp to perm position, working Monday to Friday
• 37 hours per week
• Approximately 10-15 drops per shift
• Driving a Class 2 vehicle, operating tail lift and pump truck
• Deliveries mainly around Hampshire
• Performing daily vehicle checks
• Delivering stationary materials to businesses and commercial areas

Requirements for our Class 2 Drivers:

• Full UK Class 2 driving license
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Previous experience in a multidrop role is advantageous
• Own transport to commute to work
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Timely completion of deliveries
• Good knowledge of the local area
• Understanding manual handling and heavy lifting procedures
• Compliance with health and safety regulations
