Driver Hire Huddersfield are looking for Class 2 HIAB drivers for clients based in the Kirklees area of Huddersfield, Brighouse, Meltham and Holmfirth. These roles involve delivering building materials, timber and landscaping products around the North to both commercial and residential sites. Some manual handling will be involved as there could be some heavy lifting. In addition to driving duties, there may be some yard work, so some flexibility will be required.

Role
• Usually week day hours Monday to Friday day work
• Perform checks on the vehicle and the load before setting off
• Ensure that the vehicle and it’s cargo get to their destination safely.
• Liaise with customers at the point of delivery.
• Some nights out may be required, although if this is an issue day work can be offered.
Requirements
• Be in possession of a Cat C (Class 2) UK driving licence
• HIAB Certification
• Have a current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Be able to demonstrate a Right to Work in the UK
• Have no more than 6 points on your driving licence for minor traffic offences.
