Here at the Mick George Group, we are currently recruiting a Class 2 Hiab Driver to join the team.

Location:

Milton Keynes

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday between 6am – 6pm, with occasional Saturday work, averaging 50 hours per week.

Pay:

On target earnings circa £49,000 per annum plus performance-related bonuses.

About The Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking Class 2 Hiab Drivers to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for those holding a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph Card, Drivers Qualification Card, and Hiab Licence.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift vehicle checks, including walk-around inspections, and report defects.
2. Adhere to road safety rules, including the Highway Code, Road Traffic Act, and comply with driving regulations like the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours.
3. Ensure loads are secure, within weight limits, and comply with site-specific rules.
4. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and drive safely and economically.
5. Demonstrate a high level of geographical knowledge.
6. Complete any ad hoc requests.
