Job description

As a Class 2 Hiab (with remote grab) driver, you will be delivering building materials to a variety of customers in and around London. This must be done safely, efficiently, and routes given must be followed. Experience of Hiab is essential.

The responsibilities of the Hiab operator will include but are not limited to:

• Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with DVSA AM/PM
• Compliance with Health and Safety (SSOW), and other related legislation
• Ensuring load is strapped safely and securely
• Delivering safely with the use of Hiab brick grab

The person:

• HGV Licence with Hiab Remote Grab is essential, along with a Digital Tachograph and an in-date CPC
• Experience:
• Class 2 Hiab with remote brick grab
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential
• The ability to complete paperwork accurately
• Fluent English is required
• No heavy lifting involved
