Job summary

The Best Connection is hiring a Class 2 HIAB Driver in the Poole/Bournemouth area on a temp-to-perm basis. The role requires an ALLMI-accredited HIAB operator with in-date CPC and Tacho card, plus willingness to perform on-site manual tasks and use a company app for deliveries and pic­tures.

Shifts run 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with PAYE pay starting at £16.50 per hour and overtime at £24.75 per hour after 9 hours. Weekly pay and pro‑rated annual leave are included.

Qualifications

• In-date CPC and Tacho card required and ALLMI accreditation.
• HIAB licence must show hook attachment familiarity.
• Relevant certifications must be current and visible.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class 2 HIAB for deliveries and collections.
• Carry out manual labour on site when not lifting.
• Use company app to process deliveries and take photos.
• Check and count equipment on site with multiple photos.

Class 2 HIAB Driver (ALLMI Accredited)

Class 2 HIAB Drivers Required immediately in the Poole and Bournemouth Area.

Our client is looking to hire a permanent Class 2 HIAB Driver, through a temp to perm route.

Pay Rates:

• Starting from £16.50 per hour PAYE Monday to Friday
• Starting from £24.75 per hour PAYE after 8 hours per day
• Minimum 9 hours per day

You must have the relevant in date CPC and Tacho card, the HIAB licence must show they are conversant with the hook attachment and their certificate / card needs to display this and must be ALLMI accredited.

This role is not just about using the HIAB for deliveries and collections, it involves manual labour when on site when the equipment is not left ready to lift onto the vehicle.

You will need to be happy with this part of the role and have a can do attitude.

An app on a company phone to process deliveries and collections and they will need to be comfortable with using that. Training will be given.

Attention to detail is key to this role, the equipment will need checking and counting with multiple photos to be taken on site via the app to show all of the equipment.

Shift Pattern:

• 7:30am - 16:30pm, Monday-Friday

Pay Rates:

• Starting from £16.50 per hour PAYE Monday to Friday
• Overtime paid at £24.75 per hour PAYE after 9 hours per day
• MINIMUM 9 HOURS PER DAY
