Job summary

A leading driving recruitment agency in Reading is seeking an experienced Class 2 HIAB driver to work with an industry-leading builders merchant. The position involves driving to various locations for deliveries and collections, utilizing a HIAB crane. Qualified candidates must possess a full UK driving licence and valid HIAB certification. Pay is £18 per hour for regular hours and £22 for overtime. This is a full-time position with an expected start time of 7am, Monday to Friday.

• References from a similar role are required.

Overview

Driver Hire Reading are currently looking to recruit an experienced Class 2 HIAB driver to work with our client in Reading. This client is an industry leading builders merchant and is looking for a driver to work every Monday to Friday, for a period of at least 4 weeks, starting at 7am each day.

Responsibilities

This role will involve driving from the company's depot in Reading to various locations in order to make deliveries and collections of supplies of materials, using the HIAB crane with Remote and HOOK for loading and unloading.

Pay

• £18.00 per hour basic rate. These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.
• £22.00 per hour overtime rate. These rates are paid on a PAYE model, and are inclusive of advanced holiday pay.

Minimum 8hrs pay per shift.

Qualifications

• A full and valid UK driving licence.
• No more than 6 points (minor offences only).
• Valid CPC & digi tacho cards.
• Valid HIAB certification (with Remote and Grab attachment).
• Attainable references for a similar role.
